A visit to Bluestone Walk

This morning I paid a visit to Bluestone Walk in Rowley Regis in the West Midlands.
As you can see from the photos it is a quiet place, and while I was there I saw no one about.
But just over 41 years ago things were very different.
Because Bluestone Walk was the site of a UFO encounter.
On January 4th 1979 a woman who lived there saw a UFO with three occupants. She said that two were sitting in the Craft and one standing.
The aliens, who she later described as "fairy like beings" went into the house where they questioned the woman for sometime.
They only left when they became frightened because the woman went to light a cigarette.
In 2008 under a Freedom of Information Act order the Ministry of Defence opened their file on the case.
They revealed that there was evidence of where the UFO had landed and photographs and measurements were taken of the area.
I am so pleased to have been able to visit Bluestone Walk for myself even though I am sure the road has changed a great deal over the years.

Looking to the future

Hi everyone,
I've been giving some thought to my future plans and I would like to share these with you now.
Firstly I would like to say that the research I am carrying out into my theory about the Green Man is going well. I'll be honest it is going much better than I thought it would. Although I do feel that after only a week of research it is to early to say that my theory is correct.
Now back to what I am planning to do in the future.
The main thing that I want to do sometime next month is set up a podcast.
This is something I am very enthusiastic about and look forward to doing. I all ready have some ideas about programmes and it would be great if they came to fruition over the coming months.
I will let you know as soon as the first podcast is ready.
The second thing I am planning on doing is getting out and visiting some sites where paranormal phenomena has taken place.
One site is not where you would expect a haunting to take place, while the other is where a UFO encounter occurred.
Once I feel I can take a break from my research I will head off to the first of these locations.
I am also planning on visiting three haunted properties over the coming months. I'm afraid I can't say when these will take place because in the case of one building it will not be re-opening to the public for another two or three months.
Another thing I am considering is setting up a You Tube channel where I will be able to post short videos of the places I visit.
I will let you know if I go ahead with that.
A Facebook page was something else I also thought about setting up, although I have decided not to do anything about it right now. Maybe I will think about again at some point in the future and go ahead with it then. But as I said it is not something I want to do this very minute.
It would be great if something I have written about today has caught your eye and you are interested in it.

Let me introduce myself

Hi everyone I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself to you.
My name is Tracey Wickham and I am a Paranormal Investigator/Researcher and writer.
I have been interested in all aspects of the paranormal for as long as I can remember. It all started when my family and I moved into a new house where we experienced a baby crying in one of the bedrooms even though there was no baby anywhere nearby.
My next experience was when I visited Queen Anne's House in Greenwich and wouldn't go up the spiral  staircase. It was only afterwards that we found out about the photo taken on the stairs.
Had I picked up on the ghosts? Quite possibly.
Since then I have had other experiences involving ghosts and hauntings and also a UFO encounter.
I truly believe in the paranormal in all it's forms as I have experienced so much over the years.
Currently I am doing some research into a theory I have about the Green Man. More of that as my research progresses.
